Professional Development for Technology Integration
This is a comprehensive, year-long technology integration plan for educators in a secondary school. It has the following elements of an instructional design document: project purpose and overview, description of the learners and the learning environment, needs analysis, learning goals and objectives, assessment and evaluation, course scope, and course outline. It consists of a series of in-person instructor-led trainings with an online learning component.
It differs from an instructional design document because instead of being a proposal, parts of it were carried out, with the ADDIE model being a kind of North Star. It also includes a literature review of existing research on technology integration and professional development, a reflection on the experience, and appendices with the extensive supporting materials that were developed.
